As an ongoing commitment to generating long-term value for our stakeholders, Summit Ascent Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries (“Summit Ascent”) have incorporated the principles of sustainable development into our business operation to help protect the environment and support the development of our community.
Sustainability Highlights In 2021
Community
Summit Ascent Holdings Limited (“Summit Ascent”) and its subsidiaries roll out actions, and partner with NGOs and charities to support those in need in the community.
Since 2017 our employees have been supporting the following two local non-profit institutions, Artyom City Boarding School for orphans, children without parental care, and physically challenged children; and Vladivostok Special Boarding School for aurally challenged children. We firmly believe in the significance of helping children to socialise, be physically active and simply enjoy life! Every year Tigre de Cristal Volunteer Team plans and executes fun and engaging events including but not limited to workshops, excursions, and campaigns that enrich the lives of the younger generation with valuable knowledge and meaningful experiences.
Apart from providing support to schools for children with special education needs, in 2021, we have partnered with higher education institutions and other stakeholders and held two professional retraining programmes for Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service students to better equip them with the skills necessary to work in the hospitality industry.
We hope to further explore more partnership or sponsorship opportunities in other parts of our local community. This, in turn, helps our employee volunteers to give back to the community, which has provided the Group with tremendous support throughout the years.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Summit Ascent Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries are highly concerned about the issue of environmental deterioration. The Group puts its best efforts into environment preservation programmes and activities, and integrates environmental protection policies, procedures and initiatives into business operations to minimise and offset our carbon footprint. We emphasise the importance of nature preservation and, thus, organise various activities that help us fulfil this goal and make the planet a better place to live.
